This is a great job. Her plot can be viewed from different angles. I personally saw a combination of love, tenderness and fear that happens to daughters in front of their father. Perhaps this is a psychological drawing? Probably the monster she hugs may be just a psychological portrait of her father ... that is, the way she sees him. Scary but caring and loving. :)
